I would like to request your assistance with my current project! Broadly, the project consists of a series of paintings dealing with vices. The word 'vice' according to dictionary.com means “an immoral or evil habit or practice,” “a particular form of depravity,” or “a flaw, defect, or shortcoming.” As I am planning what these pieces will look like in their final form, I've concluded they just won't be the same without your help!
Here's what I'm looking for: a postcard, letter, piece of paper or journal entry containing in your own words, and from your own experience, a confession or a struggle, hardship, secret, victory, prayer, praise, etc.... whatever comes to mind when I mention the word 'vice.' These personal notes can be dropped into the mail and sent my direction at this address:

Feel free to leave yours anonymous if you so chose. The notes/letters/postcards will be used to wallpaper the pieces I am painting. The appearance of your card/letter is up to you, but keep in mind that depending on where and how your card ends up in the painting will depend on its legibility to the viewer. My ultimate goal is two-fold: to expand my work as an individual artist beyond myself by including others’ experiences/hardships/ struggles/victories/joys in the process and product of the paintings; and to open up an opportunity for you as viewers to experience healing, processing, confessing, releasing, and rejoicing as you participate in this project with me.
